The MC100 has the dimensions 120 x 75 x 35 mm and a weight of approx. 135 g. It is operated with a supply voltage of 10 to 30 V DC and has an operating temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. The housing is made of plastic and can be mounted either on the wall or on a top-hat rail.

The device is equipped with an ARM Cortex-A7 NXP i.MX 6 UltraLite processor and the clock frequency is 528 MHz. It has 512 MB RAM and 4 GB flash memory. OpenWrt Linux is used as the operating system and the device can be programmed using various programming languages such as C/C++, Python™, Java™ and Node-RED™ The basic configuration can be carried out via a web interface or via SSH.

In terms of interfaces, the MC100 offers a 10/100 MBit/s Ethernet connection, a slot for a micro SD card with support for up to 64 GB of internal memory, a power connection via a plug-in screw terminal, a slot for a mini SIM card and two SMA antenna connections.
