The Quectel EG800AK-GL is an LTE Cat 1 module designed for global IoT and M2M applications. It supports LTE Cat 1 (single-antenna) as well as 2G (GSM/GPRS) as a fallback, ensuring high network availability even in regions with limited LTE coverage.
The module offers data rates of up to 10 Mbit/s in the downlink and 5 Mbit/s in the uplink; it is designed to be energy-efficient and is particularly suitable for applications with moderate data volumes and a long product lifecycle. Thanks to its LGA form factor, it can be integrated into industrial designs in a compact and cost-effective manner.
