Cavli LTE Cat 1 Modules

The LTE Cat 1 technology was specially developed for operation with medium data rates and moderate power consumption. LTE Cat 1 is the cost-effective 4G mobile standard that supports the broadest range of IoT applications. It supports Voice over LTE (VoLTE) and can switch seamlessly between different cell towers without interrupting the connection – an important function for mobile applications.

LTE Cat 1 is used in a variety of applications where devices require a reliable connection rather than high-speed data transmission. LTE Cat 1 is a good choice for remote monitoring and data collection applications such as smart metering and critical device monitoring. Wearable health monitors, POS machines and security systems can efficiently utilize LTE Cat 1 modules to build a reliable IoT-connected ecosystem.
