Inside the MC MNR 5G 4 port industrial router is a powerful ARMv8 processor (64-bit Cortex A5x quad-core) with a clock frequency of up to 2 GHz. The hardware is complemented by 2 GB RAM and 16 GB internal memory, which ensures stable system performance even with data-intensive applications. A Quectel RM500U-EA 5G module is integrated for fast mobile data connections, which supports the latest mobile communications standard and predestines the Multi Network Router for future-proof applications.
OpenWRT 24 is used as the operating system – a freely programmable embedded Linux system that offers maximum adaptability to individual requirements.
In terms of connectivity, the MC MNR 5G 4 Port Industrial Router is extremely versatile: four RJ45 Ethernet ports, an SFP slot, four analogue inputs, four digital I/Os (optionally with ignition logic for vehicle applications), an RS-485 interface and a USB 3.0 port are available. WLAN, GNSS for precise positioning, a MicroSD card slot and two SIM card slots are also on board – features that make this router a powerful multi-network router.
