This is complemented by a 2 GB RAM and a 16 GB data memory for stable data processing. The high-performance Quectel RM500U-EA (5G) and Quectel EC21-E (4G) modules are installed, ensuring reliable communication.
The MC MNR 5GA Multi Network Router is operated with the freely programmable OpenWRT 24 operating system, which offers maximum configuration flexibility. Security is not neglected: with TPM 2.0, Secure Boot and a process developed in accordance with IEC 62443-4.1, the router fulfils the highest cyber security standards.
Thanks to its versatile interfaces, the Multi Network Router is suitable for a wide range of applications. These include two RJ45 and two M12 X-coded Ethernet connections (10/100/1000 Base-T(X)), analogue inputs (2x 0-30 V and 2x 4-20 mA), digital inputs and outputs (4x each, optional for vehicle applications), RS-485 interface and a USB 3.0 connection. The router also has M8 microphone and speaker outputs for LTE-based calls, WLAN, GNSS for precise location determination, a micro SD card slot and two nano SIM slots (optionally with eSIM).
